Construction Details:

I love the designs for classic Dirty Pair and I was absolutely determined to wear them to Ohayocon this year! The suits are made out of yellow and white lambskin leather, with red patent leather trim. The boots are pigskin leather and started off as an over the knee style. I cut down the tops and added appropriate red trim for them to match our characters. The gun holsters are veg tanned leather, hand stitched together. I styled my pink wig by using lots of hairspray while the wig was turned upside down. Steve Hightower Hair Studio, my favorite local stylist, put a little 60's style bump into Jia's wig, and also cut the bangs into it. Once I got to Ohayocon, there were a few last minute things Jia and I still needed to do to make the costumes complete. This included painting her boots yellow, stitching the small straps at the top of the holsters on, painting the back of the holsters, and adding hooks/eyes to the tops. I love how these turned out. Nothing makes a girl feel sexier than leather and big guns!

I used Volumax Freeze Spray and let it dry upside down.
