Construction Details:

Making this costume was a true learning experience! It was my first time making a coat and a vest - not to mention shaping and applying teeth, as well as learning how to cover brows for makeup. Unfortunately, all pictures I have are after my the styling in my wig had fallen apart (due to a full day of rough wear), so please don't pay much mind to it. I've since made a new wig, but haven't snagged any proper shots of me wearing it. My disguised Grell costume is basically the same outfit, save for a different wig, coat, and glasses. I did make the glasses chain myself, and though it is difficult to see, the coat is one I purchased and made basic modifications to. (Removed a belt and belt loops, switched out the buttons, etc.)

How was the wig colored?

Self-made sharpie dye solution.

Styling Notes

Old wig: Made hair wefts and added them into the wig. Straightened and dyed to a deeper shade with a slight rose tint. (Didn't photograph well, unfortunately.) New wig: Two wigs styled together, gradient added.
