Construction Details:

Filia is easily the GIRLIEST cosplay I have ever made. The dress and cloak were both Simplicity patterns, and the dress is so sugary-sweet and pink, that it simply NEEDS something els to tone it down! I made minor modifications to the cloak, such as the trim and purple lining. The chest ornament is made out of a push-light, witht the fabric on it being cut and hand-painted correctly by me. The same goes for the hat- I bought some platic christmas ornaments way back in preparation for making this cosplay. After that, make the gem for the gloves, throw in the wig and boots, and all I need now is the mace! I wore the fangs for fun.

Damn, this costum's fun! There needs to be more Slayers cosplay...
