This costume was a dream costume for a while, well to cosplay Mana was a dream for a long time. After meeting him in 2009, I got inspired to make this outfit. This is the costume he wore when they preformed, and I just fell in love with the design. I also had the poster, so I would see the costume all the time. I still want to improve the costume and redo it, as I now have a Moitie lace choker and the blue Moitie cross. I do like how the costume turned out though. This was made for Anime Expo 2010. The skirt is made from over 28 feet of tulle. Yes, pure tulle. A base layer was sewn onto a waist band, that closes with velcro. From there I just kept sewing layers on top of each other until I got the right shape. I also did do the gathering part that he has, but you can not see it too well. I would like to maybe remake the costume and make it more like his someday. The skirt took the most time and was mostly hand done. The blouse was made from a Georgette fabric. The only things that I did not make were the pants and shoes and MdM pendant and cross necklace. The guitar was made at last minute (a week before the convention), but I love how it turned out... I will be making a new one for next year AX, and the cross will light up like it does on the real Juene Fille.
