Construction Details:

These are the first costumes I've ever made and I made this with only a few reference Pictures, and I added some quick embellishments to the tunics and hats (for fun). These costumes are worn by me and my twin sister, and inspired the creation of the cosplay group "The Twin Links" We won 1st prize for these costumes at the Kumoricon '08 Cosplay contest. For Kumoricon '09 we won 1st place for our skit "Teaching Dark Link to be Evil" The Twin Links will be attending Kumoricon '10. Please say hi if you see us! Both costumes are getting a bit of a makeover, and pictures will be posted as soon as the modifications are finished! We both love Ocarina of Time the best of all the games, but are looking to do more interesting costumes in the makeover. We're thinking of getting new wigs, and I'm actively working on new tunics that will be laced up with sides (among other new things!). We are planning on not having ribbon on the new ones, and might even buy/make chain mail for them!
