Construction Details:

Dem curls. XD I love making costumes that involve styling wigs, and this was one that really made me think about how I wanted to tackle it. The coat is made from a sturdy cotton twill that's lined in a really comfy suede. The wig was actually my old Daria wig. XD For the curls, I took curlers and glued the wig fibers to them. For the sword, I took a piece of pvc and cut it to the length that I wanted. I then traced out the design on poster board, cut it out and glued it to the pvc. Then I built up the shape with tin foil and covered the whole thing in paper clay. The end product is super light! The armor is made from polyvinyl sheeting and craft foam. The two bestest friends a gal can have.
