Construction Details:

Costume is made from silk dupioni which was chosen because I felt it would hold pleats well and look better than linen would. I spent hours painting the blue around the diamonds into 3 yards of my fabric but didn't have enough time to pleat it so I just cut off one yard and made a simple skirt before my plane flight. Someday I'll sew the yards back together and pleat it all so it's accurate! All the lace is hand dyed and my hair bow is also made of silk dupioni since I'm addicted to it!
