Construction Details:

The suit is made from lycra and all the purple parts are a matted satin. The bows are red cotton covered with a see-though sparkly fabric which I have no idea of what it's technically called. lol The star burst on her bow is layered craft foam and the petals on the sleeves are thick interfacing. The tiara was bought online as were the earrings. The Glaive is made out of wood and separates into three pieces for easy travel!

Personal Thoughts:

I did Sailor Saturn back in 05 so it seriously sucked. lol Thus I wanted to redo her since she's my favorite scout. At AV 2010 we had to make their princess dresses so I thought it would be a great time to remake her senshi outfit too! There was a lot of hand-sewing on this costume and I don't like the way the middle point on the skirt came out but oh well. If I wear her again I hope to fix it and get boots since cosplay.com never bothered to give me the ones I ordered. =/
