Construction Details:

Costume was a dual effort of myself and my 'right eye' Drakochan. She sewed the tops and I procured/made everything else (which was all purchased with the exception of the eyepatch). HOW DOES I TIED HAKAMA I had so much trouble figuring that out, after many tutorials it appears the straps may be too short. I will hopefully address this later haha.

Personal Thoughts:

So recently I fell into deep deep love with Sengoku Basara. I've been itching to cosplay Date Masamune like burning and just HAD to do some version or another for ALA 2011, but I also wanted simple/comfortable/easy to travel with. This fit the bill perfectly.

this is the first of what will probably be onehundredbillion Date cosplays, oh dear lord.

Styling Notes

I mostly just had to do trimming and some fluffing/spiking while marathoning season 1 of the anime. The base wig was basically perfect, I love it <3
