Construction Details:

My wonderful friend Dani of MoonAngel Costumes showed me how to make a scout fuku about a year ago with my Sailor Pluto costume, so when I found a stain on Pluto's costume, I dismembered it and reused the pattern for Mars! The bodice is made of two layers of thin white 4way stretch spandex, the skirt is out of red casa satin, the bow is out of eggplant casa satin, and the gems were bought from a friend. I couldn't find any red pumps in my size (damn my big feet!) so I bought black pumps from Target and painted them. The paint ended up chipping, so next time around, I'm going to take some advice I heard at ACen and use red model paint instead!
