About this Costume
Construction Details:
The top was made from an unknown high-necked shirt pattern. The skirt was self-patterned. The waist cincher was made from the Laughing Moon underbust corset pattern but was simplified a bit. I purchased the stockings and petticoat.

The wig was originally pure white. It was meant for Der Tod but was far too thin and poor quality to do the job, so I used Dye-na-Flow to dye the wig bright golden yellow. It's also too thin to do Peach's hairstyle correctly so I only did the curly bits near the front.

The gold designs on the skirt and front of the shirt (which you can't see, but I promise it's there!) were done with Heat n Bond and gold lame fabric. I used the same stencils from my Lady Oscar ballgown to make the designs seen here.

The crown's made from gold sparkly sticky-back craft foam. I covered the sticky side with gold lame.

I guess this costume is more involved than I thought!
Personal Thoughts:
My non-congoing friend/coworker decided he wanted to be a "sexy" version of Yoshi for Halloween and asked me to help him with his costume. I've always had a hankering to cosplay Peach (I love the color pink far, far too much and what kid born in the early 80s doesn't love Super Mario Bros?) so I made this alongside his Yoshi costume. It's a fun little thing to wear but I don't know how much convention action something like this will be getting!
