Construction Details:

I did a lot of research into Finnish military uniforms in order to have a balance between accuracy to Himaruya's drawings and historical accuracy. The rosettes on the collar and the buttons on the uniform are both from Finland (the rosettes are authentic, the buttons are plastic replicas with the Finnish emblem on them).

Personal Thoughts:

A friend had jokingly suggested long ago that I cosplay as Finland, before I even liked Hetalia (and I wouldn't for months and months). However, he ended up being the type of character that I tend to like and thus, tend to cosplay. His uniform was fun to make and I loved the color. As much slack as Hetalia gets, I genuinely had a lot of fun cosplaying as Finland.
