Construction Details:

Obi was made of casa satin with heavy lining and several lines of boning to hold it up without sagging. The bow simply attaches with some large snaps. The skirt was hand-painted with the three box pleats and knife pleats going in the opposite directions. The wrap was just one long piece of knit fabric pinned in place since it seemed to sit better than cotton (although there were times when I wore this and used a cotton scarf from another costume). The sleeves are probably my favorite part, made of off-white cotton and gradient dyed.
