Construction Details:

This costume has gone through several variations, and this is its final and epic form. The hat was certainly a wonderful finishing touch to this, getting inspiration from both the regular hat worn by fisherman and the hats that Ash Ketchum has worn in recent years of the anime. The pokeball zipper pull is part of a toy from Burger King, and not shown in this photo is my tan pants (like those worn by a fisherman in the Pokemon games), checkered wader boots (not black like the original, to make it fashionable as some girls would enjoy), and an old fishing rod with genuine pokeball bobber. The amazing "Lure Ball" prop was created by my dear friend and fellow ACParadise member, Airika. Photo was taken at the monthly cosplay gathering "GasuKan" in June 2010.
