About this Costume
- Construction Details:

Long story short:
I made the dress from yards of purple and black sateen and the costume took around $180 in raw materials to put together. I encountered many things during 3 months of effort on the costume. I modified a little girl's ball gown pattern, I cut 789 inches of silver scallops from organza with a soldering iron, I had to wear two petticoats under the 4-pound dress. Then I proceeded to scream at George to GET BACK IN MY WOMB. - Personal Thoughts:
- I'd planned an Umineko cosplay since Sakura-Con 2009 and after much debate (and measuring character heights), Eva-Beatrice was the only clear choice. The costume took 3 months to put together along side school work and I'm very happy with the result. Let me just say that I don't ever want to hand-cut 789 inches of scallops again.
