Construction Details:

I put a lot of work into Dragon Queen. There is a long petticoat on the bottom and then a short poofy petticoat along with that, I wanted a softer look than a hoop-skirt so that is why I went with the petticoats. The main skirt is a beast! It is 5 layers and I created the edging by sewing bias tape and ric-rac together. Then I beaded around all the edges. I made the corset myself as well and added the same details. The cape's collar was made using the foam and wire sandwich method. The dragon on the cape is appliqued on and then beaded around. The neck dragon is cut out of pleather and then I used prosthetic adhesive to keep it on my thoat. I made the crown out of a headband and the foam wire sandwich method. I used my standard Sakura wig. Sakura participated in a skit and Nan Desu Kan 2010 called Battle of the Wills.
