Construction Details:

First time game character costumes. Don't know where to start. It looked like thick and warm outfits so I layered winter materials such as suede and knits. First time debut was PMX 2010, winter con. So we were warm when everyone else was cold (^^)v ...I broke my sewing machine sewing wig hair and foams. Learning hard way. Fixing cost was so high and added to our material cost for the costumes. Exploring materials in the heart of Van Nuys Blvd was thrilling! Layering tights, cut jeans inside of boots? Wow, so tight but I am glad my boots are so sturdy! It was fun^^.

Personal Thoughts:

This was our first game character cosplay project. So many things, we didn\\\\\\\'t know about and I ended up breaking my sewing machine by sewing wig hair and thick foams. But my love to the both series Project Diva and Valkyria Chronicles carried me through so now our costumes are wearable. This project opened the doors for us to perform, meet great people, and to the first experiences of filming videos.

Styling Notes

I bought this wig and 4 packs of loose hair to make clip on twin tails. I sewed loose hair on the cloth and clipped them in to the large clip. Then I cut down the medium length wig and styled it. I was insane doing this and clips are loosing hair each time I comb. But I don\\\'t regret to take this challenge. So this wig set is now retired and I bought a regular Miku wig online but it tangles like crazy so I like the one I made better!!

Wig Review

For original wig making project for this costume: material are from Cosworx. It was nice and smooth hair even though it wasn't heat resistant.

Second commercial wig: Online purchase from Epic Cosplay Miku wig which tangles harshly. It could be mine only but it was a bad purchase.
