Construction Details:

I started watching Naruto and identified with Sakura. She is a lot like I was at 16. At first I wanted to do her pre time skip outfit, but I changed my mind. I don't think I would make a very convincing 12 year old. 16 is more realistic age for me to portray.
Of all the parts of this costume,the skirt is what looks the best. The elbow pads, they are not very comfortable. By the end of the day they rub like crazy! The shirt. I altered it from a hoodie. I cut off the sleeves, hood and pockets. I didn't have a sewing machine at the time, so I did it ALL by hand.
