After hearing Makyz endlessly go on about how AWESOME K-ON! is and how cute Mio is for weeks, the seed was planted and slowly growing in my brain until I had to give in and do this costume.

I had no way of escaping it when I was out on a shopping...(Read More) trip and stumbled upon a dress that was almost a perfect match. Then came the tights and the ghetto armwarmer I made from striped socks. Fortunately I had a little hat I could mod to look like Mio's and matching shoes.

Personal Thoughts:

It was a relief to do a mostly "closet" cosplay, have an excuse to cut my hair with bangs, and put some of the stuff my brother has sitting in the garage as props (microphone yeah!).
