Thank god for my home-made body double. Making this bodysuit consisted of me crossing my fingers, pinning fabric to the body double, wrecking my fingertips with pins, and sort of sewing together something that didn't rip when I squatted or sat. That part is a miracle. The collar was borrowed from a friend of mine (thank god for Emilee) because I'm still so sew-tarded I'm still trying to get the whole rounded edges of something down. Latex mask was an extra of hers too, and I'm hoping to get one of those someday too! Right now, saving up so I can get the whole thing commissioned so THAT I don't have to worry about something ripping... The rating's only as high as it is because for me at my current level, I had a bitch of a time. It'd probably have been easier IF NOT FOR MAKING ALL THE DIFFERENT CORNERS OF COLORS MEET. SOMEDAY I WILL NOT HAVE SUCH A HARD TIME SEWING THINGS I SWEAR. BUT I ACTUALLY MADE A GLOVE.
- Personal Thoughts:
- BUT WOULDN'T THAT BE GREAT IF IT DID? I MEAN, SERIOUSLY. IMAGINE THAT YOU'RE RUNNING AROUND WITH A JOKER, YOU SIT DOWN, YOUR PANTS RIP RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE - IMAGINE ALL THE FUN HE'D HAVE POINTING OUT THAT SPECTACLE.
