Construction Details:

Altered (I mean REALLY altered) a pattern for the coat and vest. Basically tailored a Men's Long Coat pattern and added a whole bunch of trim to it. Epaulets were made by cutting out cardboard and then covering it with black fabric and ironing on some cool patch I found. The rifle baldric was freehanded with pleather and fabric glue (haa sewing machine could work with it....)

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first really huge cosplay, thus I ranked it "Hard" but in hind sight it wasn't too bad. I wish I hadn't rushed so much with this because it could have been so much better. Overall I'm pretty happy with this because all the hard work paid off. I'll need to repair bits and pieces but this cosplay will last a long time and I'll be rewearing it often.
