Construction Details:

I fell in love with How to Train your Dragon and Hiccup's character, so I decided to cosplay him for the local Renaissance festival. Recently got a new wig for it and wore it to C2E2 2013! :)

I'm so happy with the materials I found for this costume. The green tunic fabric was a fall suiting fabric I stumbled across at Jo-Ann's, and it has nearly the exact same color and texture. The fur for the vest was hard to find, but we finally got brown fur in at JoAnn's when the halloween fabrics were starting to arrive in the late summer. I lined the vest with a lining fabric to keep it from being scratchy against my neck. Pants were from goodwill, and I added in eyelets and a leather cord for the lacing on the tunic and pants. The fur tops on the boots are removable.

Styling Notes

Just trimmed some areas around the ears with a razor real quick. Otherwise it's just how it looks when pulled out of the bag and given a good shake. XD

Wig Review

If I could have my real hair look like this everyday, I would. It's such a cute style.
