Construction Details:

The black body suit is some kind of stretchy black fabric with an invisible zipper up the front. It was done basically free hand; I cannablizied a few pieces from different patterns (like sleeves and collar) and had the gloves and boots lying around from other costumes. THE HELMET WAS DEATH. It probably shouldn't have been, but I have little to no experience with spray painting things. I bought a helmet off of ebay, took the visor off, and then spray painted the whole thing yellow. After waiting for it to dry (here's where I think my problems started; it was way too cold outside for the paint to dry and cure properly) I sprayed on the blue design, which made the yellow paint pucker and also dripped like crazy. Then after some serious repair work on that, I made the ears out of newspaper, layered it over with craft foam and model magic, and then sprayed them yellow and glued them on. The visor was painted yellow on the two ends and then I took some UV window film and covered the outside of the visor. I DO NOT ADVISE YOU DO THIS UNLESS YOU HAVE WINDOW FILM SPECIFICALLY FOR CURVED SURFACES. I didn't. You can see the film pulling off of the visor in some of the pictures.
