About this Costume
Construction Details:
Here's a cosplay that I've been DYING to make since late December 2009, and I'm glad that it only took me about 2 and a half months as opposed to nearly a year and a half that was my last costume. ^ ^; After starting Spirit Tracks, I just fell in love with this Zelda. I really adore her feisty personality. She's a very down to earth character. I really enjoyed her as my companion for this game. :333 It seems that the other Princess Zelda's who share the same design (Wind Waker and Minish Cap) also share the same place in my heart, hehe. So I thought by making this costume, I'd be killing three birds with one stone. ^ ^ Three of my favorite Zeldas in one costume. XD Hoping to someday make her Phantom version, her possessed version (Malladus), and her ghostie version. 8D Many people ask what I made my jewelry and accessories from. The chest piece is made from thick craft foam and model magic coated with envirotex lite epoxy resin. The white windies (lol that's what I call them) in her hair are model magic also coated with envirotex lite. The belt is a combination of thick craft foam and model magic coated with envirotex lite. The necklace is two ping pong balls and a plastic christmas ornament painted pink for the beads, and the necklace itself is craftfoam. The crown is made from Sculpey Ultra Light, and the gem is cast from clear polyester resin. The dress is made from casa satin, and the tabard is also casa satin applique. The shrug is silk dupioni that I dyed pink. The designs at the bottom of the dress was hand painted by me using a stencil I made. :3
