As AnimeNEXT 2009 was approaching, I did not have my school version Rena done. What to do but search my closet for anything remotely usable for a Rena cosplay! Somehow, I found a dress that worked PERFECTLY for the DVD cover version of Rena. Just sewed on some flowers, made a flower bracelet, and HUZZAH! Done.rnrnThe photos from ANEXT 2009 feature a billhook that was made from foamcore and the plastic handle of a Halloween meat cleaver. Credit to HuhRadio for helping make that.

Styling Notes

I used Amphigory's Honest in 27/26e as a base and tinted it red with the Sharpie dye method. This was my first time dying/tinting a wig, so there was a bit of trial and error invovled, but all in all, it turned out quite nicely!
