Construction Details:

This costume was kind of a last minute thing! Some of my friends invited me to join into a Pokemon Black and White group and I decided to go with it. Makomo is such a cute character and I love the fan portrayal of her personality. The wig was from Epic Cosplay and cut by one of my friends, while the barret was an old flower one that I had that I used as a base. I built on the flower with Apoxie sculpt and then sanded and painted it. The glasses I bought from the dollar tree and just cut off the top of the rims. The shirt I bought from Target and dyed myself. The ribbon that was encasing the hems of it dyed a really dark pink so I also had to sew that down in the front. I was planning on making my own labcoat but I really ran out of time. I ended up going to a medical supply store the night before and buying one. I took in the lab coat a lot as well as cutting up the sleeves and adding the extra cuffs. I made a silly skirt to go under it and wasted a whole bunch of time on that. NO ONE IS GOING TO SEE IT D: Anyways, it is a pretty adorable pencil skirt that is a light purple with pink edging. Shoes were some old flats I bought and painted.

Personal Thoughts:

Cute and comfy! As most of my half assed costumes tend to be now.
