Construction Details:

First time making a pleated skirt. IRRATIONALLY DIFFICULT. Bluucircles was kind enough to make little embroidered patches that say "AKB48" for us~

I think it would be safe to say that AKB48 is currently our main fandom! After seeing them perform at NYAF '09, we became completely smitten, and when they were announced as guests for AX '10, we decided we were going to NEXT LEVEL that shit and cosplay them for the concert.

The reception was really awesome, from both Japanese press and our AKB ladies themselves. We got several interviews for TV and magazine articles, as well as lots of positive reactions from the girls. ;; w;; It was more than we could have asked for and probably the most rewarding cosplay experience I've ever had!
