About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
I made the pleated mini-skirt in one night with some fabric leftovers, modified a cap, bought a tie, grabbed a shirt, a handbag and a wig I styled to look like Celty's head in case I decided to take off my helmet, took out my Ranka's shoes, made myself a little bit paler with makeup and added a latex scar on my neck and voilá.
- Personal Thoughts:
- This was a last minute cosplay, but I enjoyed it so much! I wanted to go as Celty for the convention, but since I was working on my WCS costume, I ran out of time. I didn't want to rush Celty since I love her and I wanted her helmet to look as good as possible, so I decided to postpone her. But I felt bad for my DRRR!! group ;_; And then I remembered how I liked Mika at first before we know "the truth". Then I was shocked and I finally liked her crazy stalker!love. There are quite a few inaccuracies, but I felt so happy with my boyfriend and my friends, people recognized us and we enjoyed these simple costumes so much ^o^

- Styling Notes
- I had this wig I bought for a friend when he cosplayed Koizumi Itsuki sitting in my house, as I planned to use it when I revamp my Azuma Kazuma costume, and while I still intended to go as Celty for that con, I thought of styling it like Celty's head so that I could wear it when I got tired of the helmet, so half the work was already done XD I dyed it to give it a more reddish tone and trimmed it a bit to fix the crappy cut I made years ago ^^u I made some pointy bits with hairglue and that's it!
