Personal Thoughts:

I went to Yaoicon on the last day as Kaworu from Evangelion, because I wanted to be comfortable and do LAZY MODE. It's pretty much my old Akagi costume with a different wig and undershirt, although I messed up and brought the womens' short sleeve white shirt instead of the mens'. Oh well, nobody called me on it, so I think I'm good.

I'm not the biggest Evangelion fan in the world by any means, but back in The Day, I watched the whole thing taped off KTEH (a public access station based out of San Jose that aired a ton of anime about 10 years ago), and Kaworu may have only been in one episode but it was INSTANT CHARACTER LOVE. Doing this cosplay is like tributing my younger self and the few things that weren't entirely wrong with her.

Yay, red contacts. And apparently I didn't look too much like myself in this... I got a whole bunch of lag time while talking to people while they processed who the hell I was. I think that means I did my job.
