Construction Details:

The entire costume was mostly bought and altered. Bought the shirt and took off the sleeves, bought the pants and cut up the bottom. Bought the belt and pouches from OSH...picked out broken things so i could get them cheaper and then fix them. >=3 There were four things I did make. The wig looked like it belonged on David Bowie when I got it...and I spend hours cutting off all the hair. I'm still not 100% happy with the spikes but they work for now. The gloves were an interesting challenge. It was my first time sewing gloves for starters. I ended up taking the pattern, and doubling the size of the hands, since his hands always look oversized when he's wearing those gloves. They're made out of pleather, which was annoying to work with but i like the look of it. The screws on the back of the hands were made with model magic, painted and dry-brushed, and then attached with hot glue and super glue. The gloves themselves are stuffed to help keep their shape. The earrings were made by me from sheet metal, as well as his nose-thing. The spiky teeth were 3 pairs of subtle fangs from vampfangs all molded to my top teeth together. Also, bike chain makes for most epic prop EVAR! YOU CANNOT DENY THIS!
