Construction Details:

This was my very first costume. It has gone through a couple revisions since I originally made it, and I still plan to almost completely re-do it sometime soon. The toga is made from a simple cotton, and the tank top and shorts from a knit. The bracers, arm band, and leg band are craft foam and the rings around the bracers are made from sculpey. His pendant was cast in resin. The boots are built off of a pair of sandals, and are again just a simple cotton. The wings are made from chicken wire, batting, and tons of feathers of course - it was very difficult to rig a harness for these wings since one of his shoulders is exposed! The blades are made from wood, and they can go together or come apart.
