About this Costume
Construction Details:
Made the skirt. Got a sweater from salvation army, cut off the sleeves, hemmed it, took it in since it was pretty big, satin stitched on the yellow cross, sewed on bias around the collar, had my mom embroider the red around the cross.Got some green fabric, put strong interfacing in it and sewed white thin ribbon on to it to make the lines on the arm band.
Wig: bought 2 bob wigs, cut one of them in half into two pieces. Sewed them into pigtales and added flat allegator clips to each. Cut other wig so it looks like the hair is being pulled up into pig tales. Spent pretty much a whole day trying to get the pieces to curl. Used lots of product, and rollers.Got nice red ribbon from walmart and made the bows.
Personal Thoughts:
Kuroko- DAT VOICE!! It was fun being a raging lesbian, who is crazy, but some how sophisticated. She's my favorite character from the show and I thought the show didn't have enough love, so why not cosplay from it? At the con I wore it to: The AAC Summer Matsuri, I found a lot more Railgun fans than I expected! ^__^
