Construction Details:

i made everything by hand by myself... the jacket is a heavy red cotton fabric and i made my own patern and sewed the entire thing by hand. then i made a stencil of the symbol on the back out of plastic then painted it on the back. for the boots i took some old snowboots, striped the zippers outta the side sowed the sides back up then cut down the front side. then i cut some fabric for the edging, then made the boot straps with the rings and attached them... then i painted the bottom of the boot red. for the automail i found a pattern online and modified it. it's made outta craft foam, duck tape, and thin plastic. -edit- i redid the automail for sakuracon 2007 and also made a dragon spear out of the same materials as the automail (duct tape,mylar template plastic and craft foam) i also added on to the costume by my mom finding some leather pants, getting eds suitcase and i also made and arm blade attachment for the automail. next year i wanna find some contacts for ed's eye color and possibly some one day hair dye for my red hair XD it's kinda odd to have a redheaded edward but... meh XD i didnt wanna wreck my natural hair color XD
