Construction Details:

I was so giddy when I found the material for this costume in the fashion district of NYC - it's brown suiting with blue pinstripes, just like in the show (and it shipped from ENGLAND ahahhahaha~)! In order to make sure the suit looked absolutely right I used a pattern for a women's suit jacket and heavily modified it. The wig and tie were also acquired in NYC; the wig has a ridiculous hair count and I attacked it with massive amounts of gel and Got2BGlued hairspray to make it stick up. The glasses are non-prescription.

Personal Thoughts:

I WOULD BE THE DOCTOR AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. This costume was wonderfully comfortable and fun to wear at a relatively low-heat Otakon. Huge thanks to my friend Lina who agreed to be my absolutely fabulous Donna Noble.
