Construction Details:

I started making this jacket quite early into watching Code Geass (episode 6 or 7 or so), knowing that I definitely wanted to cosplay as someone from it eventually. I ended up using this costume for Lelouch, Suzaku and Rolo, however I enjoyed cosplaying as Suzaku the most. One of the interesting parts of this costume was the gold edging on the costume- as per usual, any time near Christmas (or rather, any time of year AT ALL) it's impossible to find gold bias that doesn't look tacky, so I had to buy a rich yellow ribbon and hand-paint it gold to get the right effect I wanted. My favourite aspects of this costume are probably the butt-flap at the back (this is why I shouldn't be allowed official character sketches...) and the belt loops (it was my first time making some!).
