Construction Details:

My press costume for the World Cosplay Summit 2009! The white pants are just leggings from Gina Tricot, and the boots are about 10 years old. Even though they aren't super accurate, I liked the suede and really couldn't spend money on new boots just for a costume (we weren't compensated for costumes, like some teams are). The gold trim on the costume is wide satin ribbon because I couldn't find bias tape in a nice shade. I thought bias tape was a pain to sew. It's not, comparatively.
