Construction Details:

The coat material is a black clothing PVC from SYFabrics; it's an absolute dream to work with! It cuts just like butter and it photographs beautifully. I did double seams instead of piping because, frankly, piping just looks ridiculous with these coats. The coat is fully lined because PVC does not breathe. At all. The chain detailing is made from Sculpey; it Velcros across the front of the coat. As far as a pattern is concerned, I modded a Butterick coat pattern using Saeru's Matrix tutorial as a general guide. (And she's an absolute angel for making that tutorial!) It does need some more attention, seeing as I've lost a ton of weight since I first sewed it, hence why it looks a bit baggy.

Personal Thoughts:

After three years of cosplaying Marluxia, I've finally retired him - but I'm not quite ready to retire my Organization coat just yet! Logical conclusion: Xion.

I'll admit, when I first heard that they were introducing a fourteenth member to Organization XIII, I was a little apprehensive. However, after playing the game, I have to say that they handled it so much better than I thought they would! Xion's still a Mary Sue, but then again, most of the characters in this series are. But I really loved her story, even if they did try to shove her and Roxas together. (Which is kind of really awkward for reasons I'm not going to say in case of spoilers.)

...And I may just love the fact that there's finally an Organization member I can pull off.
