Construction Details:

This was my very first cosplay! Over the years I've updated it and remade a few things, but for the most part, the construction was pretty straight-forward. I bought an orange tank top and painted the flowers on using stencils and fabric paint. The necklace is made from Sculpey. I found the pants for $3 at TJ Maxx and then dyed them yellow, and the socks were also dyed orange (and a white strip of fabric was sewn onto the tops). Personal Thoughts:

This is one of my favorite costumes! My friend Jack and I first cosplayed as Hayner and Olette at Youmacon '07. It was our first con, and our first time cosplaying - and we had a blast! Since then, it's been one of my cosplay dreams to have a Twilight Town group. My totally awesome cosplay buddies made this dream a reality for JAFAX '09~! I never thought we'd even have a Pence, let alone all of Seifer's gang to boot! But low and behold, everyone pulled through. I was pretty darn close to crying because I was so thrilled! The Twilight Town gang doesn't get nearly enough attention from the KH fandom, so it was great to have a sweet photoshoot for them. But after two years of cosplaying as Olette, it's time for her to go into the Closet O' Retirement. I'm glad she could go out with a bang!
