Construction Details:

The bodysuit was made from metallic spandex, which was pretty difficult to work with. Curse Mori and his bias tape-happy character designs! THEY DON'T MAKE STRETCHY BIAS TAPE. I mean, I did figure out something that worked, but being able to buy bias tape and sew it on is just so nice.

The cape is made of vinyl. Looks awesome but too bad it only stays together for an hour before all the parts fall off. Hot glue doesn't work on vinyl, I guess.

Personal Thoughts:

After first seeing Mu-12, I knew I had to try it. At the time, there were only two official photos available and I tried my best to work with it. It was definitely a challenge, but I was happy with it in the end.

This is actually the costume I am still most proud of, despite its glaring flaws. It was way beyond my skill range and I still managed to make a wearable costume (only for a day though). However, this costume is sitting in the trash now. It completely fell apart after a few wears.
