Construction Details:

Wow ok. First of all this costume was made in...18 hours. 18 STRAIGHT hours. I totally pulled an all-nighter from Wednesday to Thursday before Otakon. I'm not at ALL good at making blazers, probably will remake and buy a pattern (which I hate to do), but whatev. It's totally lined, the lapels are embroidered with one of the decorative stitches my machine can do. The ammo packs have "Lady" embroidered very small on them. The ammo packs are probably what I am most proud of since it was my real first endeavor working with leather. The boots are also my loves. I bought black go-go-ish Sketcher boots on ebay, cut a slit down the front, painted them brown, hammered in a million grommets, and made the flaps out of leather. The flaps also have a decorative trim going around the edge to make the boots look sort of "designer" since I know Lady is chic like that. The wig I styled in the hotel room in under 20 minutes from a upper back length wig. It's phenomenal layers but I didn't have time to blowdry in the flip. I'll do that next time I suppose. Glasses are from Home Depot, gloves are from Bulgaria off ebay, socks are from Sock-Dreams.
