Construction Details:

I did Lucifer back in 2006 but was never very happy with that costume so decided I wanted to remake the thing entirely now that I have more skills. The costume is a mixture of several different parts of the manga. I took the claws from vol. 20 but the armor/gloves/basic coat design from vols 16-18. The whole thing is lined and the zipper is functional despite its crazy direction. The pants were also made by me and were made of a different less shiny pleather so I wouldn't completely die in this. The claws are made of wonderflex and the armor is a mix of pleather, plastic, foamie, and wires. All belts were made by me. Only thing I didn't make were the wings which were made by evenstar1.

Personal Thoughts:

Lucifer is one of my absolute favorite characters ever and I love the design to death. I'm still not quite satisfied with this so I'll probably continue to tweek it as time goes on. The costume was also used in a skit at Otakon 2010 which was kinda always a dream of mine to perform so I'm very grateful for that experience (even if nobody probably knew what the heck was going on except for those who have read the manga XD;).
