Construction Details:

Most of the hat was hand-sewn. The neck piece is closed at the back with velcro. The shirt is collarless with a vertical opening on the upper front. All buttons on the shirt are working buttons. The vest is fully lined in the same satin that the outside is made of. The bloomer was made using a drafted pattern. Lots of gathering on the bloomer including the pants, two layers of ruffles at the back, and the sash on the side. I also added about 350 sequins on the bloomer - one by one, all by hands.

Personal Thoughts:

I hate not having my right eye >"< It strained my weaker left eye so much that I often had to walk with the eye patch open.
