Construction Details:

The costume itself was not very complicated, as I said: a pair of old trousers which were cut and distressed, a simple belt and an old shirt that got its neck modified so that it was wider, removed its pale green color and dyed it again yellow. Ironically, the most time-consuming details were the wig and my Yebisu can.

Personal Thoughts:

I planned going to a little summer convention with this cosplay accompanying a friend as Asuka: I was quite busy with my WCS costume for the spanish preliminaries, but this one's so simple and easy that I pulled it off in almost no time. Since I watched Evangelion 2.0 (what an awesome movie *__*) I was in the mood for something like this, as my Eva-love came back with full force XD But we ended up not going to the event and, same as Sawako, this "costume" got a small photoshoot at my house by my sister. Our camera sucks, so we'll probably take more photos someday when we buy a better one ^^;; I've always loved the scenes in which Misato enjoyed her beer at home, they're awesome XD But I'm afraid I'm not as funny as she is, I can't make her faces no matter how much I tried! XD So this shoot is quite "serious", sorry u_u

Styling Notes

I was fed up of my Misato wig not looking at all like her hair, so I shortened it, dyed it with a black/blue mixture, curled it very softly, made her trademark early-90s-anime bangs and added a little widow's peak below them :3
