Construction Details:

This was a costume that I started, left for a while, and then picked up again when I found a Rome that pestered me into it. The armor is made from craft foam sealed with layer upon layer of glue, and finished with acrylic paint. The studs are thumbtacks and the chains I picked up at a jewelry store. I made the tunic, though I don't know the names of the materials I used, and the pants and boots were Goodwill'd. The sword was made by my friend Mousse from wood. I love him for it and it's so far my favorite prop. It is also quite phallic looking. As of now the breastplate doesn't sit very nice on me and the tassels on the bottom of my tunic are fraying like mad. Gotta fix that for next time.
