Wig: I sewed in extra wefts to prevent bald spots from showing when I pulled the wig up. The wig was very thick where I cut the bangs, but incredibly thin in the back! =( After that, I followed AnimeAngel's awesome Saber bun tutorial and sewed the bun down with invisible thread to ensure that it wouldn't budge. Wings: Corset: I drafted my own pattern and used two layers of duck cloth, one layer of interfacing, and one later of bridal fabric. The corset is boned with a mixture of solid and spiral steel. Also, I made it so I could zip it up and not have grommets show by making the lining layers lace up but the topmost bridal layer zipper to fit. Armor: The armor is made out of Plastex, and is held together by a mixture of super glue and hot glue. - Personal Thoughts:
- Odin Sphere was an incredible game. I loved every minute of it, but especially Gwendolyn's story. (Or as my bf and I now call her, "Gwenna-wyn!") I completely empathized with her relationship towards her father, and come on. She SAVES the handsome prince and defeats armies by the droves? How badass is that? I had to cosplay her.
