Construction Details:

Very easy costume to wear. Made everything from the shoes to the bow to carving the horns. I had a personal friend make me the flute though. The horns are carved out of styrofoam, covered in drywall patching, sanded to a smooth finish, and sealed with mod podge. They are stitched to the red wig. The bow is a series of 6 separate tubes i made by sewing some purple fabric into long tubes, inserting a few wires, and stuffing with fiberfill (for pillows). A series of fishing wire gave the bow the "rope" texture and also holds all 6 pieces together. The bow is put on by simply stepping into it and wiggling it up. lastly, the legs are linked to my bra at the shoulders to keep the bow from pulling backwards.
