Construction Details:

Kafei was made for Anime Iowa '09, with immense help from Miri. All basic construction was sewn by Miri--I painted one side of the circles and the sleeve flames, but other than that I sat back and twiddled my thumbs. I made the Keaton mask myself, patterned off of a pepekura model with papier mache over it and model car paint to finish. The shoes were stock eBay with the buttons removed. Wig was a professional-only style that was styled by me and tinted the slightest bit purple. Contacts came from colorlens4less.
