Construction Details:

I decided to make the dress out of a thrifted old bridesmaid dress with big puffy sleeves, rosettes everywhere, and covered in chiffon. I removed the original chiffon overlay, redesigned the neckline into a sweatheart plunge, and used the original boning from the puff sleeves to maintain the neckline. I also made a white faux fur stole, and dyed the opera lenght gloves purple.
