Construction Details:

The costume mostly consists of found items. with a few things I modded/made from scratch. The pants and sweater were found at military surplus shops online. Trench coat was an eBay or thrift shop find, I can't remember which. The boots I owned, and the spats I made from scratch with rib knit. The glasses I found on eBay, but the bridge in between the two lenses was so high, so I cut it off and made a new one with wire. My first Shepherd's Journal is an actual working journal that i found on eBay (it was actually given to the production staff for the movie, which is pretty freakin' awesome). The patch on the trench coat came with the journal. The wig is my old Italy wig that was styled to have Milo's ginormous bangs.



In 2015 I FINALLY got off my tuchus to make a more screen-accurate journal.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this costume. So much. The reactions Ive gotten from fans of the movie have warmed my heart greatly. Atlantis is one of my favourite Disney movies ever. So when one of my pals wanted to cosplay Kida, I decided to be her Milo (complete with diminished physique, large forehead, and inability to drive a truck lolol).

Styling Notes

The sides of the wig were slicked back, and the bangs were made by wrapping the fibers over a soda can, hair spray, and a hair dryer on cool
