Construction Details:

I made the mistake of thinking this would be relatively simple armor to make, which is why it took me something like two years to finish the costume. -_- All of the armor ended up being Wonderflex covered with silver lycra; I also made everything else from scratch, from the stupidly long cape (how does that even work in battle anyway?) to all of the belts. The sock-boots have a sole of 6mm craft foam and thick vinyl to protect my feet, and the spear is just spraypainted plywood and PVC pipe because I needed something easy to disassemble to fit in a suitcase. Oddly, one of my favorite things about this costume is actually the gloves - they required 4 different colors of lycra so the patterning was a real pain, but I love how they came out. GIANT HANDS YAY.
